Fort Walton Beach Gets Solar Charging Station at Chester Pruitt Park

Jenkins Engineering donated a $4,400 solar-powered charging station to Chester Pruitt Park after the company's owner heard residents express concerns about device charging at public spaces. The nine-foot station, installed on the park's east side, can simultaneously charge up to 10 devices via USB ports and requires no ongoing costs to operate.
