If you feel like your ears are ringing, don't go to the doctor just yet... you are probably hearing the Salvation Army's volunteer Bell Ringers at the Red Kettles.  This past Saturday, November 20th, the Salvation Army invited the public to help "Ring in the Season" at its Red Kettle Kick-off Event at the Magnolia Grill.

The annual Christmas Campaign raises funds for those in Okaloosa and Walton Counties who struggle, as well as those impacted locally by the pandemic and resulting economic conditions.

The highly visible Red Kettles have served a symbol of good will and a holiday tradition for more than 100 years.  This year the Okaloosa/Walton Salvation Army hopes to raise $175,000 dollars with the Red Kettles.

If you or your group are interested in helping the Salvation Army this Christmas Season, and connect with the Okaloosa/Walton local community, please contact Lt. James Milner at 850-243-4531 or Board Chairman Tom Rice at 850-302-0266.
