The City of Destin will be offering Shape and Sculpt fitness classes on Wednesdays from 8:15am to 9:15am. This light-weight workout is set to fun music with a focus on strengthening your muscles, balance, and core. Classes are $5 per class and are open to all ages and fitness levels. The Destin Community Center will be offering a Hatha & Vinyasa Style Yoga class for all levels every Thursday, from 6:00pm – 7:00pm. The class will focus on breathing, controlled movements, and stretching. Vinyasa Yoga which will consist of breathing exercises and short meditation. The cost is $5/Destin res per class and is open to everyone 17+.

The City of Destin will host its 28th Annual Pinfish Classic on Saturday, November 7th at the weigh-in on the dock behind AJ’s Restaurant, located at 116 Harbor Boulevard. The event will kick-off at 7:00am. The catch and release event is open to children ages 14 and under. Bring your own pole, and we will supply you with the bait. Awards will be given for the largest and smallest pinfish in each age group as well as a prize for the most fish caught overall. Awards will be given at 8:45am at the registration site.
