Lapsit Storytime for ages 0-2. Join our Children's Librarian, Miss Sadie , for a morning of songs, stories, music, and toys! Storytime will take place on the floor with each baby in an adult's lap. A limited number of floor cushions and chairs will be available to make adults more comfortable. Cushions from home are welcome!
Join us every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 am - 10:00 am for Music & Me with Mrs. Hillary. Mondays are for 0-5, Wednesdays ALL AGES are welcome, and Fridays are for 0-3 year olds. The following Story Time does have an age requirement see Story Time Registration for more info. Come and join Music & Me with Mrs. Hillary for a fun interactive class geared toward introducing musical concepts and movements to children. Registration is required at readokaloosa.org
This is the 2026 Book Flood! Cozying up with a good book and steaming mug of hot cocoa is how Icelanders have spent their Christmas Eve since WWII when paper was one of the few things not rationed.
Join us on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after Story Time from 10:30am-11:00am for socialization and playtime! The children can meet new friends and get their energy out through play while their caregivers stay and socialize.
Friday December 18th, from Noon-1pm at the Home School Meet-up We have GAME DAY!! We will have video games, card games, table top games, and board games. No registration required. AGES 6+
- first 15 children each class (preference given to Early Steps families but everyone is welcome) Registration is encouraged but not required -For ages 0-3 -older children welcome if they want to be there -short story, music, movement, and sensory stay and play. Sensory Storytime is for all children and all abilities. -in partnership with Early Steps
Teens, ages 11-17 , are welcome to join us at our Teen Hang-out! Teen Hang-Out is Monday-Friday on School Days, 2:00-3:00. We will have activities available every day, but there is also plenty of room to do homework or just "hang-out" with friends.
