Stormfolk is an alternative/folk band with siblings Mick Grocholl and Kaylyn Hastings. The band combines a singer/songwriter feel with folk, bluegrass, rock & pop, crafting a unique sound. Based in Pensacola, Florida the band has featured numerous artists and primarily uses vocals, guitar, mandolin, bass, and percussion.
Mick began writing and recording during his high school years (2009-2013). He started uploading his tracks to streaming services after learning to mix and produce his own music.
Word of mouth started to spread as listeners started experiencing Stormfolk concerts at Disney Springs—Florida's popular tourist attraction. Since then, the band has opened for Drake Bell on his 2018 U.S. music tour stop in Orlando.
Stormfolk is currently bringing its vision and writings together at home in the studio, where all tracks have been recorded thus far. With a "one song a month" goal + live shows on YouTube, Stormfolk releases nonstop content.
You may see Stormfolk at concerts, weddings, house shows and colleges across the United States. Feel free to give them a follow on Spotify. You can also follow the band's journey on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook to stay up to date on photos, videos and new content. Stay stormy, everyone.⚡️
